DESCRIPTION:The annual Garrett County Celtic Festival celebrates the heritage\, art\, and culture of Appalachian immigrants from Scotland\, Ireland\, Wales\, and Brittany. The day-long festival along the bonnie banks of the Youghiogheny River in the village of Friendsville is a fun event for the whole family! Activities include: \n* Musical performances by IONA\, Aurora Celtic\, Lynne Dale\, Greg Latta\n* The Duffy School of Irish Dance\, Potomac Highlands Scottish Country Dancers\n* Multiple pipes and drums bands\n* Highland Athletes\n* Sheepherding demonstrations\n* History and storytelling\n* Glen of Clans\n* Childrens’ activities\n* Artisan Marketplace \nRain or shine! There are many covered areas throughout the park in the event of inclement weather. Free parking\, facilities ADA accessible. Tickets $15 for adults\, students 5-18 $5\, children under 4 are free.
